IF THE LIMB OFFENDS

Mark 13: 38-44

38. Behold, He sayeth unto them, “If thy hand causes ye to stumble, cut it off.”

39. And they looked round about at themselves and blushed exceedingly.

40. Then sayeth He, “If thy foot causes ye to stumble, also cut it off.”

41. Then said John unto Him, “Now that makes sense, Teacher, for it is indeed the feet that stumble, on account of them touching the ground.”

42. Then sayeth He nothing unto him.

43. Then sayeth the others unto Him, “Teacher, what about other bits?”
 

44. And lo, He looketh up to heaven and sighed, saying, “Cut them off. Cut everything off.” And behold, they diligently did so, according to His word.
